Summer tends to throw everything off -- sleep schedules, eating habits, fitness routines and even our mental clarity. The long days and lack of structure can feel freeing, but once September hits, many of us are left feeling scattered and ungrounded. The joy of summer always (sadly) comes to an end; so whether you're still corralling your kids back into school routines, or squeezing as many river days as you can out of what's left of summer, we have a few simple ways to reclaim your routine before fall is fully here.
Re-establish your morning anchor
Even just one intentional act each morning - like 5 minutes of journaling, a quick walk, or a quiet cup of tea - can help your nervous system feel safe and structured again. If you've been waking up early and grabbing your phone immediately, try replacing that with a healthier routine to start your day off right. A glass of lemon water and some deep breathing will make you feel waaay better than that scroll on instagram, we promise!
Schedule your wellness
Put your Floats, Fire & Ice sessions or Massages on the calendar like you would a meeting. When your nervous system has time set aside to rest and reset, everything else in your life works better. Even one session a week can create massive momentum. Book my time
Simplify your evenings
Replace screen time with grounding rituals: stretching, a hot bath or herbal tea are great ways to wind down naturally and signal to your body that its time to power down. The better you sleep, the easier it is to stay consistent with your routine.
You don't have to overhaul your entire life, just a few small shifts can bring a surprising amount of clarity, calm and energy as you enter the final stretch of the year.
