FIRST FLOAT GUIDE

BOOKING & PREPARATION
Booking A Float
We try to make this as seamless as possible. On the top right portion of your page you’ll find the “Book A Float” button. Click that, and you’ll be on your way to booking your time and paying so that you have nothing to worry about upon arrival. If this is your first time at Capitol Floats we highly recommend the "3-Float Intro Float Package".
Key Tips Prior to Floating
Make sure to not drink caffeine at least 6 hours prior to your float to ensure your body can reach ultimate relaxation. Try to not shave the day of your float. Shaving can leave your skin fresh to be stung by the salt water (Be sure to take a look at our FAQ's for some other important pieces of information). Lastly and most importantly, we recommend: come free of expectations of your float experience as no two floats are ever the same.
Arrival Time
If it is your first time to Capitol Floats we ask you arrive 15 minutes prior to your float to assure you have time to fill out our waiver and go through our brief introduction. If it’s not your first time here, just be sure to arrive on time. Any time past your scheduled appointment will tap into your float time, and no one wants that! We want you to get the full 60 minutes of relaxation, creation, navigation and whatever your float becomes.

FOR YOUR FLOAT
Upon Arrival
Check in with our Float Facilitator at the reception desk. He/She will show you to your room, take you through the next steps, and answer any questions you have.
Embark On Your Float
Put in your earplugs, take a quick shower to rinse off any oils on the skin, and then hop into the well of creativity and relaxation (and for those wondering you do go into the tank nude).
Finish Floating
When your time is up in the tank, soft music will slowly seep into the tank to let you know your float has come to an end. Upon getting out of the tank you'll take another quick shower to rinse the salt off. After changing back into your clothes join us in our post float room.

AFTER YOUR FLOAT
Post-Float Room
Picasso and Dali had salons to discuss and create so we wanted to have a similar space for you. Before you get bombarded with stimuli, take a moment to settle back into reality in our comfortable post float room. We’ll have beverages for you to sip on, books for you to read, and writing and art utensils for you to jot or create at your leisure. If you want to bring your laptop to do some work post-float, we encourage that too! We want you take advantage of the clarity and ease you'll have immediately post-float.
Post Post-Float
Benefits of floating can last for hours and days. Enjoy your post-float glow and go ‘head and take on the world!
