ABOUT CAPITOL FLOATS

Capitol Floats began with a simple belief: when we make space to slow down and reconnect with ourselves, meaningful change becomes possible.

After experiencing the impact of floating in his own life, founder Ryan Duey wanted to share it with his community. In 2016, he opened the first Capitol Floats in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood—a welcoming space to step away from everyday demands, find stillness, and feel restored.

Hailey Oliver joined the team soon after the Sacramento location opened. Seeing how floating touched the lives of guests inspired her to bring the experience to her hometown. In June 2020, she opened Capitol Floats Auburn, creating a place for the Placer County community to rest, recharge, and connect.

Now serving both Sacramento and Placer County, we’re proud to have welcomed guests for more than 100,000 float sessions since first opening our doors. Along the way, Capitol Floats has grown into a holistic wellness center, with offerings across our two locations that include cold plunging, traditional and infrared saunas, massage, Somadome meditation, and facials.

Floating remains at our heart, and each new experience reflects the same purpose: to help you care for your body, quiet your mind, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you come for deep rest, recovery, or a moment of calm, you’ll find a welcoming space to make your well-being a regular part of life.
