Float for a Cause
EVERY AUGUST WE GIVE BACK
Capitol Floats is donating a portion of sales to non-profits who provide safety, services and support to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in Placer County and Sacramento County, respectively. Our non-profits this year are Stand Up Placer and A Community for Peace. 15% of all special sales goes directly to our charities.

These non-profits are essential in providing necessary services to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking in our community.
Throughout the month, we will be posting more about these incredible organizations and highlighting the work they do in our communities.

Services these funds go towards:

24 hour crisis hotline staffed by crisis counselors

24 hour emergency safe house for survivors, their children & pets

12 - 24 month Supportive Housing Program to assist survivors of domestic violence

Assistance in providing emergency transportation, food and clothing

Hospital accompaniment for rape victims

Walk-in crisis intervention and advocacy for survivors and their families
